I am a certified yoga instructor with over 800 hours of training and 20 years of teaching. Also a certified NASM Personal Trainer who believes in using a wide range or fitness modalities to accommodate unique and changing client needs.
Body awareness and corrective exercises are my focuses, as they encourage a balanced building block for efficient and easy movement.
I am also a certified Thai massage practitioner in the Chiangmai Mai Tradition, which I learned at the TMC school of massage in Thailand.
My training and education reflect a life filled with global travel and deep interest in culture. I have lived and worked in Jordan, Beirut, New York, and Dubai.
I love learning, being around animals, listening to music and being out in nature.
I believe in the power of thoughts and action . We need to first establishing a conscious understanding of how we embody our physical bodies. We can learn to read and become aware of how our thoughts and habits create ease and joy or resistance and pain. When we take full responsibility for how we think and feel in our bodies then we can start working towards a healthier more balanced existence. Taking action from that empowered state makes it much more likely to heal and transform our being.
Letting go of our tensions and resistance is hard work. Developing new habits is also challenging and often times daunting. My goal is to help you become comitted to choosing a more consistant and enjoyable workout, so that you can feel better in your body. I strongly believe that its not the intensity but the consistency that will help you achieve your goals.
